Maggs Dao Hanson

Operations & Media/Web Manager

Maggs Dao is a queer multimedia artist, writer, and childcare worker. They lend their creativity to organizing mutual aid and collective movements for justice and liberation. In 2020, they first joined Jeremy’s advocacy team, creating digital artwork and graphics. They are an abolitionist dedicated to imagining new worlds. See more of their work at maggs.univer.se.

Emily Harrington

Treasurer

Emily Harrington is an artist and advocate who brings creativity, care, and curiosity to everything she does. As a Libra, she believes deeply in justice, balance, and speaking up for what’s right. She’s passionate about challenging injustice in all its forms and is committed to supporting the voices of incarcerated journalists. She believes in building relationships rooted in trust, showing up with compassion, and using creativity as a tool for change.

Alli Sullivan

Secretary

Alli Sullivan first came across Jeremy’s case during the height of the pandemic and sent him a letter—sparking a friendship that quickly grew into a powerful bond. A University of Oregon graduate with a degree in biological and cultural anthropology, Alli is also an author and has spent the past four years working in the anti-death penalty movement. She’s been on staff with Death Penalty Action since 2022.

Sarah DeArmond

Project Coordinator

Sarah DeArmond began her journey as an advocate for the wrongfully convicted and incarcerated rights in 2020. Since then, she’s founded the nonprofit organization Voiceless Behind Bars. She is the also host of the podcast that’s named after her organization (although the podcast is owned by Prison Audio), where she interviews the wrongfully convicted and their families, as well as others who have also been wrongfully impacted by the prison system. Sarah is also passionate about domestic violence awareness/prevention as well as encouraging everyone to vote in every election.
