- Community radio is indispensable to independent journalism and amplifying marginalized voices! Seth Stern and Jeremy Busby recently appeared on the September 18 episode of Upfront on KPFA 94.1 FM (based in Berkeley, California) to discuss the brutal conditions and retaliatory tactics pervasive within prison and ICE concentration facilities, as reported in Jeremy’s recent op-ed in Truthout, “I’ve Seen Prison Conditions Kill. That’s What’s Happening at Delaney Hall.“
- Finally, we are ever-grateful to The Prison Show on KPFT 90.1 FM, “a legendary live radio program based in Houston, Texas, that has served as a vital communication lifeline between incarcerated individuals and their families for 46 years.” On August 7, our Outreach Coordinator Theodore Amey appeared alongside Chivas Watson of End Mass Incarceration Houston and WorkingGroup512 to present an informative and moving segment in honor of Black August.
